School Lunches
St. Luke’s are fortunate to have kitchen Staff who take great pride and enjoyment in ensuring children have access to a healthy school lunch.
Our team are always happy to provide a variety of healthy meal choices to ensure our pupils are able to concentrate on the challenges of the afternoon and not a grumbling tummy!
We have a range of meals including roast dinners, international menus such as curry and the ever popular Fish & Chip days - but our firm favourite among the children is Chicken Joes where we serve a range of flavoured chicken such as nuggets, southern fried and even Tikka.
How to book a meal
We ask that you book your child's lunches through the Arbor App or Portal. You can book for a day, week or future months, all we ask is that you book and pay for any meals required by 8.00am on the day you require a meal. We will still publish menus to help you make your food choices, please see the link below:

Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM)
All Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children are automatically entitled to Universal Infant Free School Meals. No need to apply, just use your Arbor account to book meals choices.
Free School Meals (FSM)
From Year 3, school lunches will be charged at the current price of £2.70 unless your child is confirmed as a FSM recipient. If you think your child is eligible for free school meals visit Staffordshire County Council School website for information on how to apply. It is advisable to apply online as soon as you are offered a Reception place in our school/before your child reaches Year 3.
Allergies
Our Catering Team receive regular training and are proficient in Natasha's Law.
It is important to notify school of any allergies or a food intolerance on entry to school via our medical form and then at any point afterwards -through Arbor.
Any children who have an allergy or food intolerance will be recorded and a list given to the Catering Manager. As an extra precaution, children will wear a lanyard stating their dietary requirement which we can then check against your meal booking. We want all parents to feel confident that their child receives a varied and enjoyable school lunch, regardless of their needs.
